Chile - new world wine
Chile is by far the most important wine producing country in South America. Chile has an ideal climate and terrain to grow wine grapes, with a long ripening season and winds that blow onto the shores tempering heat. With nearly 500,000 acres of vineyards, delivering a wide variety of grapes, Chile produces 65 million cases of wine per year.
